Caring for the needy around us – Visit to Ashajeevan, 28th December 2019
Since it’s inception, UKSL trust is involved in helping the needy people of the society. We discussed amongst the trustees and the honorable members of the trust and decided to extend our support. This year we have decided to support NGO which is involved in taking care of the old people of our society since years. We have investigated many organisations who have involved in such activities and concluded to engage with Ashajeevan. Asha Jeevan home for the aged trust was established in the year 2000 by founder trustee Mrs.Sujatha R Bhat along with Mrs. Saritha S Bhat. It’s operating from it’s own premises in Gottigere, Bannerghatta Road Bengaluru. It has got it’s advisors like famous industrialist Mr.P Dayanad Pai and 5 members in the committee board. It’s supporting around 70+ old age critically ill people.
Trust treasurer Mr.Prakash Rajagoli and Trustee Mr.Deepak Alur visited the Samarthanam organisation on 28th December 2019 in Gottigere Bengaluru and handed over a cheque for Rs.10,001.
Key take ways from the event:
Our interactions with Ashajeevan representatives Mrs.Bhat gave satisfaction that the money donated by our trust will be used for the right purpose. It’s satisafcatory moment for us as we are becoming part of noble social cause.
UKSL Trust, Bengaluru thanks all the donors and members who helped directly or indirectly for organizing this event and making it a great success.
The next steps: Trustees and life members would like to take up such society give back initiatives through crowd funding.
