Steel water tank donation to Shri Vidya Bharathi higher primary school @B Ganekal in Raichur district on 21st March 2026

Warm greetings to you all.
We are excited to share with you one of the most useful projects undertaken by the Uttara Karnataka Snehaloka (UKSL) Trust, Bengaluru during this financial year. Our dedicated members have embarked on an ambitious endeavour to donate steel water tank with taps and steel glasses to Shri Vidya Bharathi school in B Ganekal, Devadurga taluka (Raichur district).
This steel water tank was manufactured in Sindhanur (nearby place) which can hold up to 200 litres of filtered water. This will help 250 odd students from LKG to 8th Standard covering Kannada and English mediums.
It is worth mentioning that this school was started in the year 2005-06 by Mr. Hampanna Palled, an illiterate farmer but a visionary, by donating his own land to this school.
Information about this school and their requirement was shared by trust member Major(retd) C S Anand for due consideration. We, trustees, had a meeting and evaluated the need through conversation with Mr. Sharanu Palled (son of Mr. Hampanna). This school is run by Mr. Sharanu and his wife along with 15 odd, qualified teachers covering both English and Kannada medium students.
Our small act of give back to the society will serve these students with proper storage and distribution of filtered drinking water in the remote village of Raichur district.
We got 3 quotes from competitive vendors and decided to go ahead with a vendor who is from Sindhanur. In record time the water tank got ready and delivered during Yugadi. It costed Rs 26,000 including GST. We have utilised the available fund with the trust account for this noble cause.
School authorities requested us to visit their premises during handover. Trustees Mr. Deepak Alur, Mr. Mahantesh Veerapur, Mr. Sanjeev Patwari and UKSL Secretary Mr. Prakash Rajagoli visited the school on 21st March and handed over the item. Trustee Mr. Deepak Alur has handed over notebooks, pens, pencils and around 10 purana books as his personal contribution. School authorities felt very happy and showed their gratitude. Thanks a lot for the wonderful hospitality shown to us.

ಈ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸ್ನೇಹಲೋಕ (ಯುಕೆಎಸ್ಎಲ್) ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಾವು ಉತ್ಸುಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ದೇವದುರ್ಗ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ (ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ) ಬಿ ಗಣೇಕಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಭಾರತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ನಲ್ಲಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉಕ್ಕಿನ ಗ್ಲಾಸ್ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಕ್ಕಿನ ನೀರಿನ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಉಕ್ಕಿನ ನೀರಿನ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸಿಂಧನೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ (ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಸ್ಥಳ) ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದು 200 ಲೀಟರ್ಗಳಷ್ಟು ಫಿಲ್ಟರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು LKG ಯಿಂದ 8 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯವರೆಗಿನ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ 250 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು 2005-06ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಕ್ಷರಸ್ಥ ರೈತ ಆದರೆ ದಾರ್ಶನಿಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಹಂಪಣ್ಣ ಪಲ್ಲೇದ್ ಅವರು ಈ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು ಎಂಬುದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖನೀಯ.
ಈ ಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಮೇಜರ್ (ನಿವೃತ್ತ) ಸಿ ಎಸ್ ಆನಂದ್ ಅವರು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಪರಿಗಣನೆಗಾಗಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ನಾವು, ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳು ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶರಣು ಪಲ್ಲೇದ್ (ಶ್ರೀ ಹಂಪಣ್ಣ ಅವರ ಮಗ) ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು (ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ) ಶ್ರೀ ಶರಣು, ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಮತ್ತು 15 ಅರ್ಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವು ನೀಡುವ ಈ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯು ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ದೂರದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಫಿಲ್ಟರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ವಿತರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ನಾವು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರಿಂದ 3 ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಂಧನೂರಿನ ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆವು. ದಾಖಲೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುಗಾದಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿನ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದರ ಬೆಲೆ ಜಿಎಸ್ಟಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ರೂ 26,000. ಈ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಖಾತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ಶ್ರೀ ಹಂಪಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತವರ ಬಳಗ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಆವರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಪಕ್ ಆಲೂರ್, ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾಂತೇಶ್ ವೀರಾಪುರ್, ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಜೀವ್ ಪಟ್ವಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯುಕೆಎಸ್ಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರಾಜಗೋಳಿ ಅವರು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 21 ರಂದು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು. ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಪಕ್ ಆಲೂರ್ ಅವರು ನೋಟ್ಬುಕ್ಗಳು, ಪೆನ್ನುಗಳು, ಪೆನ್ಸಿಲ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಮಾರು 10 ಪುರಾಣ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ಹಂಪಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತವರ ಬಳಗ ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಆತಿಥ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.
