Workshop on Testing Automation – Selenium Webdriver

Knowledge sharing with GenNext Community

Uplifting the knowledge base of our next generation carries highest importance now. Be at par with the current knowledge level or you will be out is a mantra of today’s corporate world. In the light of the above we decided to conduct knowledge sessions for the needy north Karnataka students and upcoming IT professionals.

As part of these initiative we conducted first session on 8th April 2018. Thanks to UKSL well-wisher Mr.Shambhu Gadagin for providing the well equipped class room premises and required infrastructure for this purpose. UKSL Life member Mr. Ramaprasad D Chigari conducted the session for around three hours which was very well received by the participants.

Efforts of Mr.Prakash Rajgoli, Mr.Prabhu Savanur, and Mr.Arun Yadwad & Mr.Shreekanth S K fetched good results.

Around 20 participants received the benefit of the same.

 To leverage the opportunities and current trends in the field of Test Automation by using tools like Selenium Webdriver, TestNG, Jenkins etc

 To understand closely on Test Automation Execution (TA Resource planning, TA Planning, TA effort estimation, TA HLD & Detail Design)

 To add a new skill set to the professional profile

About Ram:

Ram comes with 6+ years of experience in the field of QA and testing which includes 3+ years’ experience in the field of Testing Automation. He is a native of Jhamkhandi. He has also conducted a session on Automation Testing in KLE Polytechnic, Hubli recently. He is a life member of UKSL trust and enthusiastic to conduct such sessions as part of UKSL Social Service initiatives.

The next steps: We would like to conduct such training sessions more frequently.
