UKSL’s Got TALENT – 2018
Event Date – 18-Nov-2018
Discovering and encouraging the talent within
Talent of kids and young generation is a big asset for any trust activities. During the UKSL annual events invariably we conduct talent shows by the kids and elders. In such events it’s difficult for us to accommodate most of them due to time constraint. So we have decided to conduct a separate program to showcase the talent of UKSL kids of age group below 16 years.
India celebrates birthday of our first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as “Children’s Day”. We thought 18th November is apt time to conduct such an event.
We published the event details in our circles and the response was overwhelming. 50+ kids with 60+ adults enrolled for the event and it was a very successful event.
We began the day’s session by devotional song by Vanita Loka team of UKSL. Kids of all age groups participated enthusiastically in the talent show by participating in drawing and painting activities. Sumit Huddar, Sahana Huddar, Darshan, Harshit Kubihalmath, Sachit Veerapur, Sanjana Tigadi, Chirag Yadwad, Daksha Wali, Ritwik Karjagi, Sanvi Karjagi, Sohan Popale, Shuban Patil, Darshan Rajagoli, Spoorti Bangarimath, Keerti Bangarimath, Shreya Patil, Dhyeya Patil, Trisha Hundekar, Amogh Patil, Tanvi Raikoty, Tanay Raikoty, Samudyata Desai, Spurti Bilgi, Shrikrishna Jyotiba, Sanjana Tigadi and Bharat Patil took part in the events.
Ganesh shloka (ganapati gunamani) by Saatvik Kalagi, Ganesh shloka (mudakarat modakam) by Sumit Huddar and Garudagamana song by Dhruv Wali were well applauded by the audience.
Ritwik Karjagi presented his talent on the keyboard. Yoga is a gift by India to the world, Chirag Yadwad and Eshan Mungurwadi performed some asanas of yoga along with Surya Namaskara. Ballet Dance by Sanjana Tigadi was well received by the audience.
Bharatanatya of Shrishti Dhavali, Bollywood fusion dances of Sahana Huddar, Harshit and Lohit Kubihalmath, Prashamsha, Sanvi and Saatvik, Bhakti Hugar, Suchi Bhusad, Bharatanatya by Suhana, Dances by Adhyata, Sanvi Karjagi, Tanvi Raikoty, Shreyas Dhavali and Satvik Kalagi and Darshan Rajagoli’s dance for famous Kannada song “huttidare kannada naadalli huttabeku” made the audience to dance!!
Singing is another talent where in some of our kids have achieved many feats. Songs sung by Amogh Patil, Keerti Bangarimath (baana daariyalli Soorya), Shreya Patil (Hindi song), Sonal Hebbalkar (cheluvina muddina makkale) and Shrijani Jyotiba were praised by the audience and we may see few famous singers among the lot in near future.
Tanvi Alur shown her karate talent, Spoorthi Bangarimath delivered a speech on “Attitude of gratitude”, Sachit Veerapur did a puppet show, Sakshi Popale delivered a motivational speech, Dhyeya Patil did a mono acting. Highlight of the event was, looking into UKSL trust activities, four of the participants became life members!!
10 Saplings sponsored by Mahantesh Veerapur were distributed in the program. Thanks to the Vanita loka and organization team of the team who turned it around well and successful. We also distributed medals and return gifts to all the kids who participated and took part in talent shows.
Our heartfelt thanks Dr.Sarvamangala Khanapuri, Mr.Prashant Patil, Mr.Vinayak Mungurwadi and Mrs.Lakshmi Mahajan who supported the event with their contributions.
