Blanket Donation drive by UKSL
Team UKSL has executed another successful event of social importance on 13th December 2023 @ Sukshetra Shree Veereshwara Punyshrama in Gadag.
True to our tag line ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಕೂಟ, ವಿಶ್ವದತ್ತ ನೋಟ we are getting support for our initiatives of social importance from across the globe. Mrs Deepa and Mr Sanjay Jadhav who lives in Switzerland wanted to help the needy and approached us. In record time trust treasurer Mrs Veena Karthik and her husbad Karthik Hiremath responded to their desire and arranged for blanket donation activity. They drove all the way from Bengaluru to Gadag and executed the task. Thanks to her cousins, Mr. Krishnaraj Hebsure, Mr Shiglimath and Mr. PC Hiremath who made all the arrangements. Around 100 blankets were distributed to the students (who are visually challenged) on the occasion by Mrs Veena and team. Mr. Karthik Hiremath, member of UKSL trust, briefed about UKSL trust and its activities. Mr. Krishnaraj Hebsur hailed the work being done by UKSL trust. Head of the ashram his highness Dr. Kallayyajja appreciated the noble work done by UKSL trust and its members and blessed the trust to take up many such initiatives.
Swamiji honoured the couple with Shawl and thanked UKSL for this initiative and choosing their ashram. What a fantastic occasion it was! Abhisheka was organised for all the three holy places (ಗದ್ದಿಗೆ) in UKSL’s name!!
As per wishes of Jadhav couple prasada(lunch) was organised to the people gathered in the mutt.
It was a very humbling experience for their hospitality, and it encouraged us to take many such initiatives.
