Many from north Karnataka are involved in trade, business, start ups and service industry. Some of them are UKSL life members as well and are successful entrepreneurs. UKSL has got a dedicated vertical to support such entrepreneurs. People already running the business establishments and wants to get into the fray are eligible to attend UKEM events. Third year in a row we have conducted UKEM with active participation from all such enthusiasts.
The preparations for this much awaited event began about one month in advance. Life member Mrs. Anu Kubihalmath and team contacted all the UKSL entrepreneurs’ community members. Life member Mr.Prakash Datanal coordinated really well with all the delegates and collected their details for the event. Event logistics were managed by Trustee Mr.Kumar Handur, President Mr.Gangadhar Wali and other org team members. This time, as mark of our support to preserve the nature, little saplings were arranged by life member Mr.Mahantesh Veerapur to honor our guests for the day.
More than one hundred delegates participated in a daylong session UK Entrepreneurs Meet (UKEM) on 28th October 2018. The event was held @ Parijatha Gateway Hotel, Yashwantpur. Our sincere thanks to Mr.Shambhu Gadagin of E sign India Pvt. Limited, Mr.Dayanand of DS Max, Mr. Basavaraj Talikoti and Mr. Ajit Patil of mahant rubbers – the sponsors of the event.
Trust Treasurer Mr.Prakash Rajagoli welcomed the delegates. Vanita loka team members Mrs.Anu Kubihalmath and team presented a devotional song while the chief guests were lighting the auspicious lamp. Trust Secretary Mr.Arun Yadwad presented UKSL activities done so far and plans for the future.
Trust life members Mr.Prakash Datanal and Mr.Dhirendra Bilagi introduced all the delegates to the august house.
Life member Mr. Girish Metgudmath invited the chief guest Mr.Dayanand SP by handing over the sapling and the chief guest was introduced by another life member Mr.Rajashekhar Kharjagi. He mentioned about the hard ship undergone by Mr.Dayanand and succeeded in life.
Mr.Dayanand delivered key note address on “Journey of Entrepreneurship in competitive real estate industry”. It was thought quite thought provoking and uncovered the insights of many real estate industries. There was a Q&A session after his talk and delegates got most of their queries answered. Trustee Mr.Deepak Alur honored the chief guest with a memento as a token of love and appreciation.
The associates of E Sign India Pvt. Limited presented an overview of their company along with vision and mission of the organization. Trustee Mr.Kumar Handur presented memento to Mr.Shambhu Gadagin as a token of love and appreciation.
As part of the event we had organized a motivational talk session by Mr.E. V.Gireesh on the topic “The psychology of winning in Business”. The chief speaker was welcomed by Trust Vice President Ms.Veena with a sapling.
The whole talk show was very interactive and captured audience from the very beginning and showcased lot of insights about the winning the business in a competitive world with win win themes. All the delegates were made to participate in few activities during the session and they enjoyed it a lot. Life member Mr.Vinayak Mungurwadi presented memento to Mr. Gireesh as a token of appreciation.
An interactive session on “Developing and Running Industries on your own” by Shri. Shivakumar Doddamani – DGM, KSSIDCL, Bengaluru was quite useful and informative for the people who would like to start their small-scale industries. Life member Mr. Mahantesh Veerapur invited Mr. Shivakumar by handing over a sapling. Life member Mr.Shivakumar Sarashetti introduced Mr.Doddamani to the gathering. Another life member Mr.Prakash Datanal honored the speaker with a memento as a mark of appreciation.
Life member Mr.Mahesh Tuppad invited our next speaker Dr.Ashok R Patil to the gathering. Trustee Mr.Prakash Rajagoli introduced Dr.Patil to the gathering. An interactive session on “Indian Consumer Laws and the impact on Entrepreneurs” by Prof. Dr. Ashok Patil -Chair professor on Consumer Law and practice from National Law School of India Bengaluru shared many details on consumer laws which most of were not aware. Life member Mr.Prabhu Savanur presented a memento to Dr. Patil as token of appreciation.
Business networking of all the delegates was managed by the organizing team well. Trust life members Mr.Prakash Datanal and Mr.Dhirendra Bilagi anchored the programs. Life member Mr.Prakash Turamari presented the vote of thanks.
With lot of fond memories of the event delegates enjoyed the day with nice breakfast, Lunch and high tea. High light of the event was the trust got 8 delegates turned into the life members of the trust. Key Speaker Dr.Ashok Patil also registered as life member of UKSL Trust.
The UKSL Organizing team worked round the clock to make this event a grand success. Delegates were presented with nature friendly laptop bags made of jute which was appreciated by many.
